Hey everyone
If you're on our Discord server you've probably seen my updates about the covid situation.
But if you're not, long story short, it was worse than I thought and I stopped working to recover, but
we're both feeling better now and I'm back to work.
I really hoped I'll be able to dodge this thing altogether until vaccination, but it got me in the end. My sense of smell is coming back already, so that's great. Small cough remains but I'm positive it will pass shortly.
Now I'm bringing you some news about Midnight Paradise.
After this downtime I started with picking up work on the main story again and it is an absolute blast to be finally working on it like I wanted. It feels like the early DoD days again
I'm making the scenes with more care and attention than before and it feels awesome. Feels like I could spend the whole day working again without it being overwhelming.
It's fun.
I've brought some previews as well as you can see above (some of them are still work in progress). You can see previews of a new mega location -
Harding Tower. Much of the main story will take place here.
And I made a new character too. I know MP has more than enough female characters already, but it was necessary and she won't steal other ladies' screen times.
I'm also adding some more extras this time and I didn't forget the Elite scene, you'll be able to vote about who gets it soon.
No certain release date for now, covid really messed up my plans. But I'm back on track and this update is going to be bigger and better than what I thought it would be, so I think it's worth the added time. I'll tell you some stats about the release in the next dev update, but it's already past a usual update in terms of animation count and renders.
Next Monday (or Tuesday)
I'll be able to tell you a release date too. Until then, more previews during the week.
