| I knew from the begginng when the old man started sweating something was off but he had that race won. So i count this racehiswin! This time, the miracle Tak had was just a gift from his goddess... I'll be patiently waiting for the next phase |

| Rofl it's the old guy's win for me, Takumi lost in my mind -.- Still, I don't want them to break the D's perfect win record, so.. But still the time attack.. They can't make a legend out of it if they can't beat the time attack, even though it's kinda not their aim.. Hopefully near the end of Project D, they'll come back for another time attack, and leave a legend behind!! XD Off to fifth stage now :) |

| Well it's a tie to me. If either of them didn't have trouble, they would have won (obviously). Takumi has a heck lot of luck though. Though I don't want to see Project D lose. I love this franchise so much. <3 |
| Well, I just finished 4th age and going to rate it a 6/10. The final few episodes had some intense races but felt a little repetitive. Shame about the relationship built up for this series but anyways, I'll keep my comment short for this season. Oh and I want one of tho hot cars. :3. Going to watch 5th stage later. |

| What a lame win, he clearly lost but since Takumi can't lose for some reason they made the old man get sick and stop driving. I hate how they're making it a bit of a trend that Takumi wins by luck when facing really good drivers instead of skill.... |

| Pretty decent ending of this season, while this was a bit less interesting in variation for me as the global focus was only on racing for the most of the time, it was still nice to see the overall development and the intense races! I do hoped the romance factor would've gotten a bit more advanced here, but in general I do wonder what will be shown in the next season! Up to the special first and let's find then out what the other season will have to offer! |

| Didn't expect that ending. I was surprised to hear Rage Your Dream for that part towards the end. Great season. |

| Victory be default... empty. Old dude lost his lunch... quite unexpected. 7/10 (good) For some reason I thought this season was a bit better than previous ones. I found the first half to be a bit more exciting though. |

| In the end the race wasn't over yet, and I really thought Takumi was going to lose because of his car breaking down again, but to think that he would win because his opponent suddenly felt unwell... Ryousuke called it his "luck", but it's just protagonism, or plot armor or whatever you want to call it, which is a pity, if he had to lose there would be no shame since it would've been against someone like that. Well, let's see what the next stage holds. |

| I guess Takumi always ending up lucky is just a simple way to illustrate that he still has ways to go. In any case, favorite season with the most hype races so far. |

| A victory is still a victory. Albeit it was dad to see Takumi bust his suspension and Joushima succumb to strain. They both raced well. The final matches were truly thrilling. |
| Average ending. Takumi won, alright, victory is victory, although it was not even a lucky win, but something close to be called as an ass pull. In general this stage was... different. Can't say if it was good or bad. For sure it had a lot of cool races with awesome moments and soundtrack, but lacked a good build-up for most of them and other characters than Takumi did not really receive any development. Excluding Keisuke (because he was one of the main characters of this Stage), only Itsuki's story arc with Kazumi was concluded. So, it's hard to judge this Stage. It was entertaining and it had cool CGI races, but it was repetitive as hell at the same time. In one moment I did not even bother to think that Takumi might lose. That kind of story was needed (whole season filled with races to show how Takumi's getting better), but it is sad it did not have much of to offer apart from Project.D and races. |

| Very interesting conclusion, well if it's a win that everyone agrees on I can't deny it either. Takumi even got to witness God hands driving up close and that will definitely help him become better in the future. Looks like part 5 is gonna be very very interesting |
| A downgrade all around compared to earlier seasons, less character stuff going on now that all the girls are gone, less eurobeat, Takumi the genius driver seems to only win by pure luck and is portrayed like a beginner basically. Its still Initial D so its still good, but it could be better. This entire Project D thing .. if you want to go around with entire mechanics teams perfectly setting up cars for each street and throwing money at the problem from reckless driving, why even bother with street racing? It went from genuine street races with just winning by driving better to luck and nearly cheating. Also .. if the 86 is really that bad, why bother with it? Its not even like its still the same car he went and won against everyone with, its got a way stronger engine and they are changing everything else too. Keisuke also basically lost the uphill, why bother driving uphill in his FD if its clearly worse than a GTR then? It should have had more unregulated races outside of D to spice things up.. |

| Hm, I'm not sure if I particularly liked that ending. Honestly, I thought that perhaps Joshima purposely lost when he saw Takumi only lost on a faulty car-part, but I don't think that's correct since he literally did puke. I think the season ending there was good though, with the reflection from Joshima and Ryousuke, and answered my own question of "Is Project D going to continue?" with a yes. I like the development of Keisuke a lot, but I think in their pursuit of this they also left out the other characters besides strictly-racing Takumi. I realize a lot of people don't like the drama, but a lot of people also seem to. It felt a bit weird that Mogi (or any love interest for Takumi) was only brought up like twice in the whole series despite being a huge part of the last 3. I know he has to focus a bunch now, but those two times or so he was saying how he was so lonely and etc. You'd think he'd reach out or find a new love interest, or something. Anyways, I think this is 8/10 |
| I just did not understand why the old man went with the plan that would turn out to be a problem for himself becoz of his age, should have finished the race in the first or second round itself. |

| For such an invigorating 7 rounds of a battle between Joshima and Takumi, at the end we were treated to a wet blanket spec. Joshima puked and Takumi was left standing like a nincompoop with his damaged suspension. To be blunt, it was a circus. Keisuke's bout with Hoshino was more heart pumping than this finale, the race had spots that made worthwhile for the mainevent . Keisuke is the most improved character In this season, he was a beast and constant even despite that deliberate oil spill by those thugs. The only thing I didn't like was how he was not willing to compromise on Kyoko's advances, the girl literally begged him and he wouldn't budge, that's how serious he was on being the best on the course. On Takumi, at least I'm glad he got to learn from Joshima, hopefully in stage5 he'll be a force to be reckoned with. Overall, good series that solely focused on the course and Project D's quest. Other things were unnecessary, including any drama outside the battlefield. From a race with a minicar in the rain, racing with pro-racers, thugs, to racing with Veterans. It sure was a bumpy ride. Two things that didn't really impressed me, was first the animation's inconsistency. The second was the layout of Takumi's development, it didn't give on any seismic effect on his character , in fact I would call it lackluster and major disappointment. Still enjoyed the series though. |

| Forgot to mention that his opponent did use two of his hands to steer which was surprising and just went back to normal probably he got spooked by his means, And surprised they didn't ask even his name like they probably know Bunta or something idk about that, Winning by luck is something Takumi is blessed at I want to see some skill not luck don't care if he lost just pure skill beating him is satisfying enough, Time for the fifth stage that came out 10 years after the fourth like how long did Initial D fans are begging to make them release the next season. |

| not the way i expected the race to end but a win is indeed a win. another good season, not as good as the previous seasons for me tho, unfortunately. the thrill was still there but i just didn't really feel the same level of thrill as before. animation and music were on point tho, and not to mention the depressing romance haha, 8/10. |
